Hello!
I’m Ana Bănică, a Romanian freelance illustrator & cat lover, based in Bucharest.
My work is, above all, inspired by my personal experiences and fantasies.
I’m in love with bright colours and I find the stylization process of any shape, either panther or cactus, simply fascinating. Very often I find inspiration and guidance in ancient art and sometimes in folk art.
I enjoy most illustrating love stories, real or imagined, fantasy scenes with big lazy cats or nude characters in love with summer, living that special mood, before sunset, when everything is warm and quiet.
My style is definitely influenced by my minimalist designs I work with at my wall stickers studio, Cai verzi pe pereți.
